How we work

This page explains where listing information comes from, what each label means, and how check dates work. It applies to every profile in the directory.

Where facts come from

We start from each business’s own website and other original sources. For every fact we record the source address, when we collected it, and whether an editor has checked it. We do not copy other publishers’ reviews, scores, photos or test records.

New businesses and material claims are reviewed by an editor before they are published. Software may help draft summaries or extract details from approved sources, but an editor checks every claim.

Evidence labels

Vendor stated
The business says this about itself, for example on its website. We have not confirmed it independently.
Public source linked
We link to a public document or page that contains the statement. A working link does not prove the statement is true.
Source checked
An editor opened the source and confirmed it says what the listing reports, on the date shown.
Directory commissioned
Work this directory paid for or carried out itself. We use this label only for work we actually commissioned.

Check dates

Every fact shows the date it was last checked. Business details older than 90 days are marked “may be out of date”. If a later check fails, we keep the last successful information and its date rather than guessing. Always confirm details with the business before relying on them.

Unknown information

When we have not found something, the profile says “Not recorded” or “Unknown”. That is not the same as “no”. We never turn a missing document into a negative claim or a score.

Ordering

Listings appear in an order set by our editors, followed by any other businesses A–Z. You can also sort A–Z or by most recent check. The order is not a ranking or score. Any position that is paid for is labelled “Sponsored”. We do not publish ratings or scores.

Documents and reports

A report record names its issuer, date, sample or batch, and scope. A report about one sample is not evidence about other batches, sterility, effectiveness or suitability for use. We do not average results into a vendor-wide badge.

Limits

Peptide Directory Australia publishes business and source information. We do not sell or prescribe products. Listings do not establish regulatory approval or suitability for use. See something wrong? Report a correction.
