You can use the whole site without an account. We do not offer visitor sign-in or registration.

Contact form

If you send a message, we store the message, its topic and any email address you choose to give, so we can review it and reply. These records are kept separately from site usage data and are not linked to your browsing.

Visitor statistics

We count visits ourselves; no outside analytics service is used. Your browser gets a cookie named pda_vid holding a random ID, so repeat visits are counted once. It contains nothing about you and lasts 13 months.

We record the pages you view, the site that sent you here (for example a search engine), your device type (phone, tablet or desktop), and clicks on Visit website buttons, which go through our own link so they can be counted.

We do not record IP addresses, names, email addresses or full browser details. These records are deleted after 13 months. If you block cookies or scripts, your visit is not counted and the site still works.

Forum posts

If you post in the forum, we store your post, the display name you choose, any business name you give and the random visitor ID from the pda_vid cookie. The visitor ID is only used to limit how often posts can be sent and to count one report per visitor. It is never shown.

Nothing you post is public until we have checked and approved it. We do not store email addresses or IP addresses for forum posts. To have a post removed, ask through the contact form with a link to the post.

Health information

We do not ask for health information. Please do not include it in messages.
